APPROACH
Background
I enjoy working with adults, children, couples, parents, and families, and I have extensive experience treating adults and children suffering from depression, anxiety, relationships issues and trauma symptoms. Since receiving my M.A. in Clinical Psychology, I have been working with an array of diverse presenting problems and client backgrounds. My work with clients is trauma informed, depth and insight oriented, and results driven. While working in both community mental health and private practice settings, I have had the honor of walking alongside clients as they share their stories and work through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
The therapeutic space is unique, as it is a confidential, nonjudgmental, and secure space to explore who you are, who you have been, and who you want to be. I feel lucky to be a therapist because I get to see immense strength and resiliency in my clients every day.
What to expect
I bring a warm, nonjudgmental, straightforward, and genuine approach to treatment to support you in making the progress that you deserve, while tailoring treatment plans to each client and your unique needs. I utilize a blend of therapeutic techniques all based in fostering healthy relationships, meaning, and coping strategies for both short term and long term progress and transformation. The concept of neuroplasticity is at the core of my approach as I believe we are all capable of growth, change, and reaching our innate potentials in relationship to others and ourselves. As your therapist you can expect me to approach you with authentic curiosity and consistent support.
